I reached out to A-Power for some limited series PC parts I saw online and Gerard was an absolute pleasure to deal with. When the part wasn't available in store, he took the time to contact his suppliers and responded to my questions quickly and promptly. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave me some very helpful advice on my PC build order and what other parts I can look for. I just bought my second computer from A-Power. They were highly recommended to me by one of our IT staff at my workplace, a few years ago when I bought my first PC from them.
It is so great to be able to have them build a computer based on my needs/usage. My first one still works, just upgrading as it's 7 yrs old now and changing to Windows 10. Both Jeff and Warren provided excellent service, advice and their expertise is obvious. The prices are reasonable, warranty is good and the support is excellent. I would give them 10 stars if it were possible. What I really appreciate is they don't try to add on sales of things one may not need. They are committed to getting you what you need, not what the sales quota mandates. I highly recommend them. Warren even very kindly took my purchases to my car on a chilly very windy day - with their store quite busy with customers, really appreciated the courtesy.
Note: pay attention to the parking signage, at rush hour, no parking on the south side of Hastings where the store is.

A-Power's great, they helped me when my CPU fan started giving me errors and wouldn't wind up properly (It's not the first time), even with my rig being super old (will be buying a new computer in the near future), they accommodated me without judging me and fixed the situation. My only real complaint is that I feel they could have turned my CPU fan to a lower speed so it won't be so noisy(My copy of Windows also apparently needed reactivation after they changed the fan settings in BIOS, which caused me some confusion for a bit), but they warned me that would be louder after that, so one less thing to freak out about, besides, I don't think it could be helped much, so under the circumstances, I think they did great, highly recommended!

I miss your Burnaby location SO much, I was sad to see it go because there's no other place like it here! I hope you'll come back someday, there is some retail space available for lease next to Burnaby Mountain, near SFU, so it would be great to see you back here again! Now I might be the only gamer who lives here, but I think your presence will be well received, both from the area and from Simon Fraser University, so please think about it!
